A visit to the Sonieczkowo shelter – let's not be indifferent
There are places that stay with you long after you've left. One of them is the Sonieczkowo shelter, which we had the opportunity to visit. It's an experience that makes you reflect and shows how much more can be done.
Currently, there are about 370 dogs in the shelter, and unfortunately, this number is constantly growing. Each of them has its own story – often a difficult one – but they all have one thing in common: they need care, attention, and a new home.
On site, we met extraordinary people. These are individuals full of empathy and commitment who care for the animals every day, ensuring their safety and the best possible conditions. What they do daily is not just a duty – it's a true mission.
We were also very impressed by the HANDS FOR PAWS initiative, organized by students of Complex of Schools No. 2 in Ełk. This is a beautiful example that the desire to help has no age, and grassroots actions can truly change reality.

As CEZAR company, we decided to support this initiative. In total, we managed to donate 200 kg of food and numerous cans and textiles, which will help in the daily care of the animals.
However, this is only a part of what can be done. Shelters like Sonieczkowo constantly need support – not only in the form of donations, but also through adoptions, volunteering, or promoting their activities.
Let's not be indifferent. Every gesture matters – even the smallest one.
Because behind every pair of eyes looking out from behind bars is a story that deserves a happy ending.
